Is there anything worse in the world than an unstable dishwasher that wobbles around in its little home, rattling the cupboards and the plates. I don’t think so, but it should be very easy to fix. Here we will take you step by step through how to achieve a perfectly level dishwasher!
1. Disconnect the power before progressing.
2. Check the level legs are firm and flat on the floor.
3. Close your dishwasher door and using a spirit level held vertically against the front door check that the bubble is centre. If it is not you will need to adjust the legs. Press firmly in the top centre to take the weight off the front legs by tilting the dishwasher backwards. If the legs are hard to adjust by hand, use an adjustable wrench to assist.
4. Check the side to side level by opening your dishwasher door and placing the spirit level horizontally at the top of the dishwasher. Adjust the legs until the bubble is in the centre.
Your dishwasher should now be perfectly level, but you may need to check it again if it starts to return to its wobbly ways.
